Another set photo, meanwhile, sees that Oliver and Barry are turning into the Trigger Twins.

AceShowbiz - "Elseworlds" is currently in production and the stars are eager to tease fans about what to look forward in the upcoming DC TV Arrowverse crossover. Just recently, Arrow depicter Stephen Amell dropped a hint that the upcoming TV event will see Superman suiting up in his black costume.

The actor took to Twitter to share a behind-the-scenes photo taken from the set featuring himself, Grant Gustin and Tyler Hoechlin. The threesome were seen sharing a laugh together, but what captured people's attention was Tyler Hoechlin.

The Superman depicter in The CW's Arrowverse was photographed in a Superman black suit, ditching his iconic red-and-blue suit, while his co-stars were sporting civilian costumes. That definitely raised a lot of questions among fans as what it could mean.

Fans assumed that the black costume may signify an alternate universe where an "evil" Superman may exist. Supergirl previously went evil due to the effects of Red Kryptonite as her suit went temporarily dark.

Superman is not the only one who has a new look in the upcoming superhero team-up. Stephen just posted another BTS photo of the filming, this time without Tyler. The new photo saw him as Oliver alongside Grant Gustin as The Flash a.k.a. Barry Allen in twinning outfits. The two sported black boots and black pants with a white T-shirt underneath. They matched their look with black leather jackets and black-and-white scarf that they wore around their neck.

"Barry and Oliver have really gone next level friendship wise," Stephen captioned the snap.

Fans noticed from the set photos that were circulating online that the back of the jackets have a very specific patch or embossing on them that looked like to be the symbol of the Trigger Twins. In the comics, however, there are two kinds of pair of Trigger Twins. One is a pair of heroes while the second is a pair of villains most commonly associated with Batman. It's kind of hard to judge which pair Barry and Oliver is just by the photos.

Also starring Ruby Rose as Batwoman, Jeremy Davie as a doctor at Arkham Asylum named Dr. John Deegan, Cassandra Jean Amell as Nora Fries, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane and LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor, this year's crossover is set to begin on Sunday, December 9 with "The Flash" at 8 P.M. It will later be followed by an "Arrow" episode on Monday, December 10 at 8 P.M. "Supergirl" will conclude on the following night at 8 P.M. on The CW.
