The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn't stop smiling at the crowd upon their arrival on on early Monday, October 15 local time.

AceShowbiz - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially embarked on their first royal tour as they arrived in Sydney, Australia on early Monday, October 15 local time. The couple was met with a warm greeting by the locals.

The two touched down the city just after 7 A.M. before making a low-key arrival on a Qantas flight Harry and Meghan seemingly didn't miss a chance to show off their affection in public as they arrived while walking hands.

Meghan looked chic as ever in a coat with maroon detailing. She paired the look with fitted black pants and heels. Meanwhile, the prince was looking casual, opting for a cozy gray sweater over a collared shirt and dark pants.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn't stop smiling at the crowd upon their arrival. The Duchess was also seen carrying a set of folders, indicating that she's more than ready to do her duty.

The Twitter account of Kensington Palace shares that the royal couple is "looking forward to meeting as many Australians as possible, and building an enduring relationship with the people of the country."

From the airport, they headed to Admiralty House, the Sydney Harbour residence of Governor-General Peter Cosgrove. Cosgrove is the Queen's representative in Australia.

For the tour, Harry and Meghan were joined by an entourage of 10, which is made of Two private secretaries (Samantha Cohen and Amy Pickerill), three communications staffers, a program coordinator, a digital journalist, an orderly, a hairdresser and a personal assistant. They will be allowed to rest for the rest of the day before officially starting their duty on Tuesday.

Australia is the first stop during Harry and Meghan's 16-day tour which also includes Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand. The young royals are scheduled to head to the popular tourist spot of Dubbo, in New South Wales, on Wednesday, October 17. They will aslso visit Melbourne before returning to Sydney to attend the Invictus Games. Founded by Harry, the Paralympic-style is created for wounded or injured armed service members. It will kick off on October 20 before wrapping up on October 27.
