While the late rapper won Favorite Album - Soul/R'n'B for '17', the pop superstar took home Favorite Album - Pop/Rock for 'Reputation'.

AceShowbiz - XXXTentacion might have gone from this world, but his music lives on. The late rapper was presented with Favorite Album - Soul/R&B Award at the 2018 American Music Awards for "17", which he released prior to his death. The honor was accepted by his family on his behalf.

His mother looked noticeably emotional during their acceptance speech, nearly breaking down in tears. "I'm so nervous, you guys," she said, as her husband rubbed her back. "I am honored to accept this award on behalf of my son. I would like to thank AMAs, his fans and to everyone who made this possible. Thank you guys so much, I appreciate it."

Meanwhile, one award apparently was not enough for Taylor Swift. After taking home Tour of the Year for her "Reputation Stadium Tour", she was honored with Favorite Album Pop/Rock for her record-breaking album "Reputation". The pop superstar admitted in her speech that the effort was the first album which she wrote based on its title. Making the audience excited, Taylor announced that a new album would be coming soon.

Before Ciara and Missy Elliott entertained the audience with their joint performance, "Single Parents" co-stars Leighton Meester and Taran Killam presented Favorite Male Artist - Country to Kane Brown. It was the singer's first American Music Awards win, and he was so happy about it that he was "about to pass out."

Following her friend, Camila Cabello nabbed her second win of the night when she was announced as the honoree of New Artist of the Year. The Cuban singer couldn't believe she won the award since she was pitted against Cardi B, Khalid, Dua Lipa and X. Still, she was grateful for all of her fans who voted for her. "I'm speechless. Thank you guys so so much," she concluded her speech.
