Having successfully made McGregor submit to him in the fourth round of UFC 229, the lightweight champion jumped into the crowd to tackle Dillion Danis and inflicted further chaos.

AceShowbiz - Three men have been arrested following a brawl that ended the Conor McGregor/Khabib Nurmagomedov UFC scrap in Las Vegas on Saturday night, October 06.

Dubbed the biggest fight in the history of the sport, Irishman Conor submitted to his opponent in the fourth round just before chaos ensued at the T-Mobile Arena.

Lightweight champion Nurmagomedov jumped into the crowd to tackle McGregor's teammate Dillion Danis, while a fight fan entered the octagon and approached McGregor. Security staff intervened and escorted the UFC 229 loser back to his dressing room as Khabib, who waited in the ring with officials at the Nevada State Athletic Commission and UFC president Dana White, was informed there would be no official belt presentation. He was then escorted out of the arena as furious fight fans hurled beer and soda at him.

For the first time in UFC history, the winner of the fight was announced without being present.

"If I put this belt on you, everybody's going to start throwing s**t into the octagon," White said before the fight's winner left the octagon.

After the fight, NSAC executive director Bob Bennett agreed to pay McGregor but withheld Nurmagomedov's after checking video footage. The incident is being investigated by fight officials and Las Vegas police. Nurmagomedov is expected to face disciplinary action from the NSAC.
