During his and wife Meghan Markle's very first visit to Sussex as a couple, the royals are greeted by excited locals.

AceShowbiz - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first visit to their namesake Sussex on Wednesday, October 3. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in the historic county with a warm welcome by the locals. One of them even had a hilarious moment with the British prince.
A video which was taken from the occasion saw Harry coming down to shake hands with some kids from Westbourne House School. The royal first talked about how their school uniform looked "very, very similar" to the one he had back in London. Later he shook hands with their teacher, who was apparently so excited because who wouldn't?
"I'm not letting go," the teacher, whose name is Mrs. Charlotte Sleep, said. The Duke cheekily responded, "Please let go."

Meghan, who donned an emerald green blouse and matching leather skirt, also had a lovely moment with the kids. They made the royal couple a guide to Sussex with some of their favorite restaurants and places to see, and Meghan looked very excited with that. "Oh my goodness, you guys! Thank you. That's very cool!" she told them while sporting a big smile.

During their visit to Sussex, Harry and Meghan met the membes of of the @SurvivorsNetBtn Knitwork Project, which brings together survivors of sexual violence and the wider community. They additionally visited the iconic Royal Pavilion in Brighton -- which was transformed in the 18th century by King George IV from a modest lodging house to what it is today.
