XXXTentacion's Posthumous Album Is Almost Finished, According to Producer
Music

John Cunningham reveals that 'the whole idea, the concept, the songs' of the upcoming album are all done.

AceShowbiz - XXXTentacion might have already gone from this world, but his musical legacy still lives on. John Cunningham, who co-executive produced "?" and X's frequent collaborator, has revealed to Genius that the late rapper's posthumous album is almost finished.

Cunningham shares that the album had been in the making way before X's death. "We basically started making this next album right after '?' came out. The songs and the ideas and the vision of it all was done or very close to being done," he explains, adding that the majority of the remaining work on the project is "getting it mixed or mastered or certain thing added." However, "the whole idea, the concept, the songs, [all that] was done," according to him.

Prior to his death, X revealed that he was planning to release three albums this year. One was "?", while the other two were tentatively titled "Skins" and "Bad Vibes Forever". It's unknown whether the said album is on of the unreleased two, though it seems likely to be so.

There is also a possibility that the album which Cunningham refers to is "Bad Vibes Forever", as Denzel Curry recently posted on Instagram what appeared to be the tracklist of the album. Among the songs which made the cut were "Run Forrest Run!", "Might Off Myself" and "Didn't Think I'd Live This Long". The post has since been deleted.

X died on June 18 after he was gunned down by two men. A public memorial service for the rapper was held at BB&T Center in Florida on June 27 before he was laid to rest in a private funeral service on the following day.

Some of his posthumous music have been released in the last few weeks, including his feature on Lil Wayne's "Don't Cry" and his collaboration with another deceased rapper, Lil Peep, on "Falling Down". Music video for "Sad!" was also premiered earlier this month.
