The 'Saturday Night Live' star has changed his policy of allowing his friends to visit anytime they want since he is now sharing the apartment with his singer fiancee.

AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson has ditched his policy of allowing his pals to visit him at any time to avoid upsetting his fiancee Ariana Grande.

The "Saturday Night Live" star, 24, used to leave the door to his old New York City apartment unlocked, so if his friends needed a place to stay they could just walk in - whether he was at home or not.

Pete embarked on a whirlwind romance with Ariana earlier this year, and confirmed their engagement and moved in together in the Big Apple in June. Asked by U.S. late night host Seth Meyers asked if he still maintained the "carte blanche open door" policy now he's sharing a property, the funnyman admitted his relationship means he is no longer around for his chums.

"That day is over," he joked. 'I am not friends with them no more. That's the best thing about your life getting better - you don't have to hang out with those people any more."

He recently revealed that the added attention that comes with dating a popstar resulted in him receiving death threats.

"I got a death threat. Someone wanted to shoot me in the face because she's so hot," he told SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern. "Do you know how insane that is? I was like, 'Am I that ugly that people want to shoot me in the face?' "

The comedian also added that he could not believe Ariana wanted to date him, believing she could have her pick of any hot male star.

He said: "Before we started dating, I went through a list of really hot guys on the internet and I was like, 'Are you sure?' I was like 'Here is all of One Direction. Are you sure?' I scrolled through everybody."

Pete and Ariana's relationship has moved fast, and the couple even have a pet - a pig named Piggy Smallz, a reference to Biggie Smalls, the nickname of the late hip-hop star The Notorious B.I.G.
