The Madam President declares to someone that 'the reign of the middle-aged white man is over.'

AceShowbiz - "House of Cards" has unearthed a new teaser of its sixth and final season. The new video highlights Robin Wright's character Claire Underwood taking over the void which is left by his husband Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) as the president of the United States.

"My first 100 days as president have been difficult," Claire tells the crowd. "I lost my husband. We were about to celebrate 30 years together," she adds, referring to Frank who resigned and was later killed off.

However, she has her own way to lead the country. One moment in the trailer, Claire can be seen arguing with Greg Kinnear's Bill Shepherd, the helm of a massive industrial corporation named Shepherd Unlimited alongside sister Annette (Diane Lane). Bill is seemingly pressuring Claire over the promises he had with Frank.

"Here is the thing, whatever Francis told you the last five years, don't believe a word of it," she says in her speech, before a scene of her faking her tears appears on the screen. She declares to someone that "the reign of the middle-aged white man is over." She adds while sporting a curious smile, "It's going to be different for you and me."

Elsewhere, Doug (Michael Kelly) makes a return. Meanwhile, Tom (Boris McGiver), who's been continuing the work of secretly murdered journalist Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara), hints at something ominous by saying, "the bodies are adding up."

One certain thing in the upcoming season is that not everyone is on the Madam President's side as someone can be heard saying, "Madam President scares me," before someone shoots her when she is inside a car. "The world is either with us or against us," Clair says.

The new season will see Claire taking center stage as President of the United States after Frank resigned from his position as commander-in-chief. Wright will lead the 8-part season 6 following the exit of Spacey, who was fired over sexual misconduct allegations. Production on the sixth season was halted last year following multiple misconduct allegation against the actor, which later led to him being fired from the series.

Also starring in the new season are Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil and Campbell Scott. Season 6 of "House of Cards" is slated to premiere on November 2 on Netflix.
