Opening up about his daily marijuana use to Howard Stern, the 'Saturday Night Live' star also confesses that he was only sober for three months after rehab.

AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson won't be giving up marijuana any time soon.

The "Saturday Night Live" comedian has touched on his weed habit in the past, announcing on Instagram last year that he had kicked the drug for the first time in eight years following a short stay in rehab in 2016, before later admitting he had relapsed shortly after being discharged.

Opening up about his marijuana use further in an interview with radio host Howard Stern on Monday, September 24, the funnyman revealed that his sobriety after rehab had in fact only lasted three months and he now smokes weed "regularly" to treat his health issues.

"There was no way I could stop," the 24-year-old said of his 2016 rehab stay. "I was like, 'Somebody has to put me in a house where there is literally nothing.' I had too much access."

However, during treatment, Pete admitted he learned that "it wasn't the weed" causing his problems and he felt more miserable off the substance than when he was taking it.

"I was sober for three months at one point and was like, 'This f**king sucks,' " he shared.

Pete now uses medical marijuana daily as a pain reliever to treat the symptoms of Crohn's disease, the chronic inflammatory bowel disease he was diagnosed with at the age of 17. The star, who is currently engaged to 25-year-old popstar Ariana Grande, also suffers from borderline personality disorder, which reportedly leaves him depressed "all the time."

"I have Crohn's disease, so it helps more than you can imagine. There was a point where I couldn't get out of bed (due to the pain). I was 110 pounds," he explained. "I also just love smoking weed. I've been smoking weed every day for eight years."

In August, Pete had a near miss with the law after he and a friend were pulled over by police in upstate New York. While he was not arrested, his unnamed pal was booked for felony possession of a controlled substance and cited for unlawful possession of marijuana.
