Meanwhile, the former NFL hunk is set to meet all of his 'Bachelor' contestants on Friday, September 21.

AceShowbiz - Colton Underwood's season of "The Bachelor" hasn't even started but the ladies for the season have been put against each other in an early competition for his heart. Three of the contestants of the upcoming season appeared in Thursday, September 20 episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", meeting Colton for the first time.

The three women, Sydney, Annie and Katie, appeared while standing on a platform with a retractable door as host Ellen DeGeneres explained that they would be up for a game named "Know or Go". Ellen would ask each lady some questions, and they would fall through the door if they got it wrong.

The host started off with some easy questions, such as asking Sydney to give Underwood her best pick-up line. Meanwhile, Annie tried to appeal Colton by saying that she has seven dogs. As for Katie, she said that she would take Colton to Malibu or "something with food" for their first ideal date.

However, Katie had to be eliminated after she failed to finish this rhyme, "Roses are red; violets are blue; Colton is sweet." Next up for a question was Sydney. Ellen asked her how many chambers in a human heart. Flustered with the question, she guessed incorrectly and that left Annie as the last woman standing. Annie failed to guest Colton's birthday, though she was still named as the winner.

The former NFL hunk is set to meet all of his "Bachelor" contestants on Friday, September 21, according to Us Weekly. The 26-year-old, who appeared on Becca Kufrin's "The Bachelorette", told Ellen of his upcoming love journey, "Finding out the little things about them is some of the most interesting things." He added, "You get to see the big story lines on TV. I'm looking forward to just [learning], 'What's your favorite snack? What kind of dog do you like?' Just, like, the little, everyday things that you guys really don't care about."

"The Bachelor" season 23 will premiere on ABC in January 2019.
