Joined by her husband Mike Fisher and son Isaiah, the 'Cowboy Casanova' singer tearfully thanks 'so many people who have believed' in her during her acceptance speech.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Underwood's star will now forever shine on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The country music star was honored with the 2,646th star on the famous street in a ceremony which took place on Thursday, September 20 in California. The star is located at 1750 N Vine Street in front of Capitol Records Building.

The seven-time Grammy Award winner was beaming in a red silk full-length jacket, paired with matching heels. She was joined by her husband Mike Fisher and son Isaiah, who looked cute in a white shirt, black vest, black pants, a bow tie and black-and-white sneakers. It marked the 3-year-old boy's rare public appearance.

The "Jesus, Take the Wheel" hitmaker was feted by former "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell at the ceremony. "This shy lady walks in and sings 'I Can't Make You Love Me', and the show turned into full color. That was the effect Carrie had on me and the producers, and we thought we may have found a great artist here.' And we did," the British producer recalled Carrie's audition in the fourth season of the show.

He continued, "After you sang 'Alone' I made the prediction that you would become the best-selling 'Idol' winner, which you are. But I could have never anticipated how successful you've become. You're a role model, a very sweet person, like me we both love animals and it could not be more appropriate that a star is getting a star today."

Fellow country singer Brad Paisley also sang praise for Carrie. "Carrie Underwood, is in many ways, this generation's Dolly Parton as Ms. Country Music. I don't think we could ask for a better ambassador," he said. "I don't think there's anything she can't do."

"This is the best of country music in concrete," he went on gushing. "I can't wait to see everything you do from here. I think of the artists that'll be in here at Capitol Records that are going to walk out here one night drunk and throw up on the star of one of the most important artists we will ever have in our format."

Carrie got emotional as she delivered her acceptance speech. "How does a girl from Checotah, Oklahoma, end up with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? I will tell you how: belief. I've been so blessed in my life to have so many people - crap, I'm crying! - so many people who have believed in me," she tearfully said. "I was so blessed to be born into an incredible family who's here today."

Praising her "incredibly encouraging" parents, she continued to thank "American Idol" judges and fans who "believed in me from the beginning."

Wiping away tears, she then declared her love for her husband and son. "I met an incredible man, Mike, who thinks I'm so much better than I actually am in every way," she said. "Thank you for believing in me as a human, as a wife, as a mom, and supporting me through all of this. He believes in me, and we had another little man that believes in me too. Isaiah Michael, I love you so much. You're the best thing we ever did - the best thing. I love you, and I'm proud of you, and I believe in you too."
