In an Instagram video, the former 'America's Got Talent' host says that the rapper can't tell him 'what I can and what I can't say.'

AceShowbiz - Kanye West recently went on an Instagram rant to call out a few of celebrities who talked about his wife Kim Kardashian, including Nick Cannon. However, the comedian has hit back at the hip-hop mogul through a couple of Instagram videos which he posted on Thursday, September 20.

Nick started it off with a good note, congratulating Kanye for returning from "the sunken place." While walking down the streets of Houston, he said, "Glad you back with it, brother. Nothing but love and respect for you, you know I always had that."

"But I honestly got to say this, my dude. I've never said anything disrespectful or harmful to ya, in my opinion, to your marriage or your union. I salute it, keep it going," he continued. "But you are not gonna tell me what I can and what I can't say, I'm a solid individual. Someone asks me a question, I'm gonna answer it to the best of my ability. I'm gonna give my opinion. There ain't no harm, no foul."

However, the former "America's Got Talent" judge were also aware that his remarks might not sit well with Kanye's "spirit." Thus, he told him to "holler at me." Nick continued, "You know where I'm at, you know what I'm saying. A man's spirit is free but pride binds it at times, so you gotta let that lose, let it lose."

In the second video, Nick invited him to his show "Wild 'n Out" to talk things out and make amends, suggesting that social media wasn't enough to convey his feeling. "Just saying to my man Kanye that the 200th episode of 'Wild 'n Out' is upon us... you're more than welcome. Let's talk about it, man. Come on the show," he said.

He promised Kanye that they would be having fun should the "Gold Digger" rapper really agree to appear on the show. "It could be Mariah jokes, Kim jokes," Nick said, referencing both Kim and his ex-wife Mariah Carey. Concluding his video, he noted, "I got nothing but love for you, but you know I'll always speak my mind, just like you always speak yours. Not you, not NBC, no corporate infrastructures, no one is ever gonna control what I say because I speak truth always, it's love."

Nick previously talked about Kim when he discussed Drake, Pusha T and Kanye's feud during an interview with Complex's "Everyday Struggle". He suggested that the concept of Drake "smashing" Kim wasn't a far fetched reason for his beef with Kanye.
