The 'In My Feelings' hitmaker sues the woman, who claims he raped her and got her pregnant, for civil extortion, fraud and defamation.

AceShowbiz - Ladies' man Drake isn't letting one of his former flings take advantage from their short tryst. The Canadian has slapped a woman, who claims he raped her and got her pregnant in 2017, with a lawsuit.

In the lawsuit filed by celebrity lawyer Larry Stein and obtained by TMZ, Drake says he met the rape accuser, Layla Lace, during a tour stop in Manchester, England in February last year. He admits that they hooked up at his hotel, but it was consensual, claiming that "Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed oral sex..."

The lawsuit goes on noting that Layla went "ballistic" after Drake did not take her on tour with him. The 31-year-old star also claims that she created a "fantasy relationship" with him and when he ignored it, that set her off.

Drake provides evidence by sharing screenshots of text messages Layla sent Drake in the following weeks, in which she said she missed him. Drake's replies were often short and he appeared to ignore some her text messages.

In April 2017, Layla claimed she was pregnant, writing on Instagram, "So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you pregnant they stop answering they phone!!!" She allegedly threatened to leak messages from Drake and went on SiriusXM to go public with her alleged pregnancy.

The lawsuit additionally states that Layla lawyered up in May 2017 to demand money for her alleged baby and threatened to sue him with defamation because TMZ posted a story saying Drake had never even met her.

In his defense, Drake claims in the lawsuit that Layla refused to take a paternity test, leading him to believe that it was a scam. "There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall," he argues.

When her first attempt didn't work, Layla allegedly changed her plan and reported Drake to authorities in New York for alleged rape during their one-night stand. At that time, she hired another lawyer and threatened to make the rape complaint public if he didn't give her money.

Drake was interviewed by Manchester police for the rape report, but he was ultimately cleared. But Layla refused to give up yet, demanding millions of dollars from the rapper to keep her silent, according to the lawsuit.

But Layla is clearly messing with the wrong person. She's now facing the wrath of the "Hotline Bling" spitter as he's suing her for civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, defamation and abuse of process. He's asking for unspecified damages.
