The Jim Hopper depicter proves he is a man of his words nine months after fan Ericka Millholland reached out to him for a special wedding request.

AceShowbiz - David Harbour made good on his promise to officiate a fan's wedding on Saturday, September 14.

Back in January, "Stranger Things" fan Ericka Millholland reached out to the 43 year old via Twitter and asked what it would take to get him to agree to oversee her wedding to Daniel Rockwood in September.

"125k retweets," Harbour responded at the time. "Provided date works with s3 ('Stranger Things' third season) shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece."

And nine months after the Springfield, Illinois resident hit her target, Harbour became ordained and officiated her nuptials, dressed as his "Stranger Things" character, Chief of Police Jim Hopper.

"Hey internet. I know it’s been awhile. I retreated. Needed some space. You probably get it. But I’ve been thinking about ya in the interim," Harbour shared on Twitter, alongside a photo taken at the wedding ceremony. "Me and some fun folks in Springfield, Illinois, made good on our promise we made all those months ago,"

The bride wore a strapless gown for her big day, which took place by a lake, in front of an arch adorned with a pink ribbon and white flowers.

While Millholland is a big fan of the Netflix fantasy horror series, she told the Chicago Tribune back in January that her then-fiance had "never actually sat and watched the show."

"I'm going to sit down and make him do it," she joked.

The third season of "Stranger Things" is slated to air on Netflix in 2019.
