The 'Blonde' singer also says that the his cease-and-desist has nothing to do with the track and he has since resolved it with the rapper weeks ago.

AceShowbiz - Frank Ocean recently made headlines when he was reported to be filing a cease-and-desist to have his vocal removed from Travis Scott (II)'s track "Carousel". The reason for that was allegedly because the latter altered his voice without permission, but Frank has since clarified the report.

Taking to Tumblr, the "Blonde" singer clarified that their reported beef was over weeks ago and had nothing to do with the track itself. "I think the song sounds cool," he wrote on Friday, September 14. "I did it in like 20 minutes and the mix sounds the way Travis wanted it to sound for his record."

"I also approved of it before it came out s the cease and decist wasn't about [speaker emoji] it was about [rainbow flag emoji]," he continued before saying that he and the father of one "resolved it amongst ourselves weeks ago."

Judging by his use of rainbow flag emoji, it's safe to assume that the problem was about Travis' controversial "Astroworld" cover art. The latter faced backlash for removing transgender model Amanda Lepore from the artwork, prompting people to call him "transphobic." However, Travis insisted that the removal had nothing to do with transphobia and the model appeared in other images.

"I have nothing but respect for the LGBTQ community. I want to use my voice to make it clear that everyone on this planet is as equal and f***ing awesome to the next," he wrote in an Instagram post, revealing that the decision to remove the model from the cover was because she upstaged everyone. Travis even thanked her for participating in his album.

"Astroworld" was released on August 3. It received rave reviews and performed well commercially. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with 537,000 album units, scoring the second-largest first week of the year.
