Despite the backlash, the Australian raptress is still standing by her comments by tweeting, 'I said what I said!'

AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea has landed in hot water after giving her opinion on Eminem's latest Machine Gun Kelly diss track "Killshot". Taking to her Twitter account, the Australian femcee said that the song was only filled with "lazy bars" due to its massive celebrity name drops, including her.
"Diss songs shouldn't be filled with celebrity name drops to pad out lazy bars," she wrote on the micro-blogging site, before adding that she was still an Eminem fan despite her criticism. She said, "And that's my unbiased opinion from a girl that watched this guys set and sung the words in the crowd. I'd think it regardless."

Iggy continued, "One of the greatest to do it, I'm NOT in dispute about that. But I do think the name dropping thing has become a crotch." In another tweet, the raptress explained why she thought Em's recent songs were "lazy." Noting that his earlier songs were "crazy, twisted and creative," she thought that "this stuff feels more like picking names that fit easly into a rhyme scheme."

One of the greatest to do it, I’m NOT in dispute about that. But I do think the name dropping thing has become a crotch.
Also let’s talk about why it’s lazy now; but wasn’t in the earlier work.

The earlier stuff was crazy, twisted and creative.
This stuff feels more like picking names that fit easily into a rhyme scheme. 🤷♀️
Shortly after sharing her opinion, many of Eminem fans have come at her by saying that she had no place to criticize the "Rap God" hitmaker. "Iggy has done nothing but disappoint the rap game," one said. "Don't get me wrong I was a fan but she has proven her 'abilities to rap' and from that alone I don't think she has a say in what's crotch or not in the rap game."
And also I guess we gonna ignore the fact that Iggy has done nothing but disappoint the rap game ...don’t get me wrong I was a fan but she has proven her “abilities to rap” and from that alone I don’t think she has a say in what’s crotch or not in the rap game

Despite the backlash, Iggy still stood by her comments. "Iam beyond prepared to be trolled for this opinion. Hahahahaha," she said, before adding in another tweet, "Hahahahaha y'all mad as f**k! I said what I said!"
