Kanye West reveals that his wife Kim has enrolled in law school to properly educate herself on the system.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian has enrolled in law school, her husband Kanye West has revealed.

The reality star has made headlines in recent months with her successful pardon of convicted great-grandmother Alice Marie Johnson and the revelation that she's now working on freeing Chris Young, who was sentenced to life in prison for drug possession after being arrested in 2010.

And while fans may have been dubious about Kim's experience in dealing with such complicated legal cases, the mother-of-three has now decided to properly educate herself on the system, by signing up for a course.

Her rapper spouse revealed the news as he attended the Ralph Lauren New York Fashion Week show on Friday night (September 07), telling U.S. TV show "Extra": "My wife is in law school now, and it's extremely serious to us."

Of Kim's efforts to free those felons who have spent an unfair amount of time in jail, Kanye added: "I love it, I love it. That's all we focus on, helping people that don't have a voice, breaking down the class systems. There's two million African Americans incarcerated now... We're going to get people out, period."

Last week, Kim appeared on Jason Flom's Wrongful Conviction podcast and revealed that she has been in talks with the White House to free Chris, who was sentenced to life without parole for possession of marijuana and half a gram of cocaine due to mandatory-sentencing regulations.

In addition, Kim said she holds regular talks with U.S. President Donald Trump's son-in-law and aide, Jared Kushner, who she insisted is "passionate" about changing sentencing laws.

In June, Kim convinced the president to pardon Alice, who had received a life sentence following a 1996 conviction for a non-violent, first-time drug offence, in which her only role was answering phones. The 63-year-old was released after serving 22 years behind bars.
