Chance The Rapper Leads Tributes to Mac Miller

AceShowbiz - Hip-hop stars Chance The Rapper, Questlove, and Juicy J have been left heartbroken by the shock death of Mac Miller.

The 26 year old was found unresponsive in his San Fernando Valley, California home on Friday, September 07, and was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities, according to TMZ.com.

Miller, real name Malcolm James McCormick, is believed to have suffered an apparent drug overdose, four months after he was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and hit and run following his split from pop star Ariana Grande in May.

Chance the Rapper was among the first of the tragic MC's peers to pour his heart out on Twitter after learning of the sad news.

"I dont know what to say Mac Miller took me on my second tour ever," he wrote. "But beyond helping me launch my career he was one of the sweetest guys I ever knew. Great man. I loved him for real. Im completely broken. God bless him (sic)... This s**t hurts so bad. If you love someone (make) sure u tell em (sic)".

"Mac was one of the nicest, coolest dudes man. This is sad man (sic)," mourned Questlove of The Roots, as Juicy J tweeted, "I'm so f**ked up right now this is so sad I can't believe it R.I.P. MAC MILLER (sic)".

Fellow rapper Lil Yachty cried, "we spoke less than two weeks ago. Wtf (what the f**k) dude. This makes me so sad. Rip Mac!!!," as J. Cole posted, "F**kkkkkk... Rest In Peace to the great soul Mac Miller".

"Long Live Mac Miller, Rest In Peace We Love You," wrote Jaden Smith, and R&B singer Khalid added, "this hurts my heart man RIP bro @MacMiller".

There were also early tributes from Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, superstar DJ/producer Diplo, and Q-Tip, who remembered Miller as a "Super sweet dude", while Shawn Mendes shared, "Unreal. So sad. RIP Mac Miller," as the girls of Fifth Harmony also mourned his untimely passing.

"Nooooo f*kin way ..... this cant be true (sic)...," Dinah Jane exclaimed, while Lauren Jauregui declared, "Man....this s**t is crazy. Rest In Peace Mac".

And pop star Charlie Puth was regretting not getting in touch with Miller in the period leading up to his death.

"I can't keep losing friends like this...," he mourned. "I wish I spent more time with you these past weeks...I'm so sorry... rip MAC...you wrote the soundtrack to my college years and I'm so happy I got to know you...this sucks this really really sucks (sic)".
