AceShowbiz - Former NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service co-stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are reuniting behind the scenes to produce a new crime drama series.

The two actors are joining forces for MIA, which will centre on a new homicide detective as she struggles through her final undercover mission in Miami, Florida.

They will serve as executive producers on the project for America's CBS network, alongside writer Shepard Boucher, reports Deadline.com.

Casting details have yet to be revealed.

Weatherly is known for portraying NCIS Agent Anthony DiNozzo on the first 13 seasons of the long-running police procedural, while de Pablo played Agent Ziva David for eight seasons until 2011.
