The 'Lost' star has been cast in the upcoming movie which will reunite him with director J.J. Abrams.

AceShowbiz - The Lord of the Rings and Lost star Dominic Monaghan has joined the Star Wars universe.

The British actor has been cast in Star Wars Episode IX, which will reunite him with director J.J. Abrams, the brains behind TV drama Lost.

Details of his character have not been released, but Dominic is thrilled to be part of the sci-fi blockbuster.
