Captain Marvel Dons Classic Suit on New Magazine Cover
Movie

The art that is featured on Super-Herois cover sees the Marvel superhero character wearing the classic red and blue suit.

AceShowbiz - Captain Marvel graces the cover of Brazilian magazine Mundo Dos Super-Herois, which issue highlights the upcoming superhero movie. On the painted cover, the superheroine wears a classic red and blue suit, much like the popular comic book version.

This is, however, is different from what Brie Larson's Carol Danvers wore on the set earlier this year. On the set pictures which surfaced in March, the Oscar-winning actress donned a black and green costume as she was filming the movie in Oxnard, California.

It's unclear which version of the costume that Carol Danvers will be wearing in the movie. However, it should be noted that the magazine's cover is not an official art released by Marvel.

The upcoming movie is set in the 1990s and will reportedly see a galactic war fought by two alien races (presumably the Kree and the Skrull) coming to Earth. It's also likely that the film will show the origins of the conflict between the Nova Empire and the Kree.

Jude Law stars as Walter Lawson/Mar-Vell, Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury, Raul Torres will play a military soldier, and veteran actress Annette Bening is cast in an undisclosed role. Meanwhile, Clark Gregg is set to reprise his role as Agent Coulson, with "Guardians of the Galaxy" stars Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou reprising their roles as Ronan the Accuser, a member of the alien race the Kree, and Hounsou once again playing Korath the Pursuer, a mercenary who works with Ronan.

"Captain Marvel" is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. It is set for a U.S. release on March 8, 2019.
