The 'Butterfly Effect' rapper says he decides to 'unload' his bank account because he knows 'it's hard for the kids.'

AceShowbiz - Travis Scott is giving away $100,000 (£79,000) to his fans as a thank you for their support.
The 26-year-old rapper sent his fans into a frenzy on Tuesday night (August 14) when he took to social media to reveal he is giving away the large sum of money in aid of his highly-anticipated third album, "Astroworld", which was released last week.
In a bid to give back to his fans, he asked his followers to comment their Cash App username, known as a $Cashtag, and their favourite "Trav song" to be in with a shot of winning. Cash App is a mobile payment service that allows users to request and transfer money to another via its app.
"I KNOW LIFE IS HETIC SO IM GIVING AWAY 100k TO THE FANS (sic)," he wrote to his 10.9 million followers on Instagram. "LEAVE UR CASH TAG IN THE COMMENTS W/ UR FAVORITE TRAV SONG (sic)."
On Twitter, Travis, who shares six-month-old daughter Stormi with girlfriend Kylie Jenner, added that he had decided to "unload" his bank account because he knows "it's hard for the kids."
Within two hours, the Instagram post had garnered more than 300,000 comments and widespread speculation that the stunt was a hoax.
However, the rapper's record label Epic Records confirmed the generosity in an email to editors at Billboard - claims which were later backed up as the Antidote hitmaker began sharing screenshots of a number of cleared transactions on Twitter.

Other donations were slightly more extravagant, however.
"if travis sends me anything with a comma i'm quitting target on sight and applying for the space force #ASTROWORLD (sic)," wrote one fan, to which Travis revealed he had just wired him $1,000 (£787), adding: "Love ur life kid".

Six hours after the post went live, the "Goosebumps" rapper didn't appear to be slowing down on his spending, admitting he still has "75K LEFT".
