AceShowbiz - Cars once owned by Beatles bandmates Paul McCartney and John Lennon are to be auctioned off in Indiana next month.

McCartney's 1965 Mini Cooper S DeVille, which was a gift from Beatles manager Brian Epstein, has been added to a car sale, which also features Lennon's 1979 Mercedes E 300.

The Worldwide Auctioneers Auburn sale will take place on 1 September.

It's not the first time cars owned by the Fab Four have caused a stir in the auction world - an Aston Martin originally owned by McCartney sold at a London auction last year (17) and former Spice Girls star Geri Horner snapped up Ringo Starr's 1966 Mini Cooper.
