Fellow stars show their support for the 'Sober' singer, who is currently battling her alleged addiction, while attending the award-giving event.

AceShowbiz - Noah Cyrus, Meghan Trainor and Lucy Hale were among the celebrities sending love to Demi Lovato at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, August 12.

The "Confident" singer was hospitalised last month after being found unconscious at her Hollywood Hills home following a suspected drug overdose and has since been recovering in rehab.

Demi was nominated for a number of accolades at the Teen Choice Awards, including Choice Female Artist, and several stars took the opportunity to wish her a speedy recovery at the event.

"I've known Demi since I was a kid - like (a) really young kid - and I love her more than anything in the world, so I'm rooting her on so much and I love how honest she's been with everybody," Miley Cyrus' younger sister Noah gushed to Entertainment Tonight reporters.

"Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy also commended the star's bravery in opening up about her addiction, which most recently included admitting she had suffered a relapse after six years of sobriety from drugs and alcohol in her hit single "Sober".

"I've always respected how open she is about her struggles," the actress shared. "I think she's incredible. She's strong and mainly inspiring and I know she can overcome it. She's a strong person."

In addition, Demi's pal Meghan, who performed with the starlet at the 2016 Grammy Awards, noted that she couldn't wait for her friend's return to music, while Fifth Harmony songstress Lauren Jauregui urged fans to give Demi space while she heals.

"I think being famous (makes it) hard to go through things like that - having everybody in your business is obviously invasive, so I just send her love and healing from whatever place I can," the 22-year-old smiled. "She knows I love her."

And it wasn't just the ladies showing support to the "Heart Attack" singer. The awards show co-host Nick Cannon also gave Demi kudos for the way she has handled her relapse and commended her strength in embarking on recovery.

"Taking an opportunity like this, where most people would be judging you, (and being) out there in the public and embrace it. None of us are perfect and we all need help and we all have certain burdens and she's dealing with hers in public and I pray and wish her nothing but good energy and recovery," he said.
