Kate Lohan won't face charge for allegedly attacking the actress' father with a glass candle due to 'insufficient evidence' and an 'uncooperative witness.'

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan's stepmother will not be charged with domestic violence after allegedly attacking the actress' father with a glass candle.

Florida State Attorney's officials have declined to press on with a case against Kate Lohan, citing "insufficient evidence" and an "uncooperative witness", according to documents obtained by The Blast.

According to the arrest report from The Boca Raton Police Department, cops were called to the Lohan home on 26 July after Kate allegedly threw a candle at her husband, Michael, during a fight, causing a cut on his arm.

Kate told the police officers she didn't know anything about a candle being thrown. She was arrested for simple battery.
