AceShowbiz - Rap mogul Russell Simmons has demanded $35,000 (GBP27,200) from the woman who accused him of raping her in 1988.
He claims the unnamed Jane Doe filed a "baseless" lawsuit against him - and now he's after compensation.
Simmons filed documents in the case on Monday, August 06, according to The Blast, after his accuser claimed he sexually assaulted her in a hotel room after she attended a Def Jam concert with her son.
The hip hop boss has now accused her of filing a complaint for "purposes of publicity".
In the documents, obtained by the news outlet, Simmons calls the allegations in the woman's lawsuit "outrageous and fictional", accusing her of trying to "extort a settlement" out of him.
He has asked the judge to sanction his accuser and her lawyer.
The woman is seeking $10 million (GBP7.8 million) in damages in her suit.
The Def Jam Records co-founder has denied her story and previously demanded the case be thrown out.
