AceShowbiz - A student is suing the organisers of Montreal's Osheaga Festival for failing to make sure rapper Travis Scott hit the stage on time.
Megan Le Stum gave up waiting for Scott when he was over an hour late for his headlining set on Friday night, August 03, and went home so she could get ready to work the following morning.
Scott was billed to appear from 9.45pm to 10.55pm, but he eventually hit the stage at 11pm and performed a 40 minute set.
Festival bosses took to social media hours before his showtime to alert fans that the headliner had been delayed at the Canadian border.
In her class action lawsuit, obtained by the Montreal Gazette, Le Stum claims she would not have saved up money for a festival ticket had Scott not been on the bill.
She argues that Osheaga bosses had a responsibility to stick to the announced schedule.
The disgruntled fan has a fight on her hands as the festival organisers covered a possible set time change in their website explanations to fans.
"All Festival performers, including headliners, are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. No refunds will be issued if a festival performer is changed or canceled," the website message reads.
