According to an insider, the Disney alum's apparent overdose brought her and the 'Grey's Anatomy' actor together.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are still very much in love with each other after all. Rumor has it, the Disney alum and the "Grey's Anatomy" star are giving their past romance another go following her apparent drug overdose.
An insider tells InTouch (via HollywoodLife.com) that her recent overdose "brought her and Wilmer back together." Furthermore, Demi is so head over heels with him that marriage is not out of the question, and "Wilmer feels the same way - he wants to get married, too."
"They found their way back to each other, so something good has come out of this nightmare," the source adds. "Wilmer came to the hospital several times while Demi was recovering, and he would stay for hours. He truly loves Demi, and she loves him."
As you may already know, Wilmer was quick to visit Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles just one day Demi was rushed to hospital. He reportedly stayed over two hours and seemed "very down." A source shared at the time, "He was somber and quiet and you could tell he was in a very serious mood. He arrived and left by himself."
Demi and Wilmer dated for six years before calling it quits back in June 2016. The two remain good friends after the split, and the songstress even opened up about how she still loved the actor in her 2017 documentary "Simply Complicated".
"I've never loved anybody like I loved Wilmer, and like, I still love Wilmer," she admitted. "We connected on a level that I've never connected with anybody before. He was just my rock. My everything. Like, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to meet anybody that compares to him, but I'm trying to keep an open heart and open mind when it comes to that."
