AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea is no longer single. The Australian native is officially dating NFL star DeAndre Hopkins, two years after she broke up with NBA player Nick Young after he was allegedly caught cheating on her.
The "Black Widow" hitmaker confirmed her relationship with DeAndre when appearing on Miami's Y100 radio channel. Playing a game of "True or False", she was asked if she and the Houston Texans wide receiver are an item. "Yeah, we're in a relationship," she quickly answered.
There had been rumors about the pair after they had a flirty conversation on social media. When DeAndre posted a shot of him charging the field and captioned it, "My Aussies call me Legend," Iggy commented, "I could think of a few other things to call you." The footballer replied, "I could think of a few things to call you myself."
On August 2, a fan also asked DeAndre, "Are you [Iggy Azalea’s] boyfriend?" The 26-year-old athlete confidently answered, "yes indeed."
Iggy's confirmation about her relationship with DeAndre ends speculations about her alleged romance with Tyga. The two rappers were recently swept up in dating rumors after they were spotted together several times.
The "Fancy" raptress and the "Faded" hitmaker were first spotted looking cozy at the Coachella music festival in April. Iggy denied she's dating Tyga at the time, calling the reports "laughable," but they were later seen posing together at a celebrity charity basketball game in Los Angeles in July, during when she performed their collaboration and her comeback single "Kream".
Adding fuel to the speculations, earlier this month, the two were seen grabbing some R&R on a yacht in Miami. Tyga also left flirty comments on Iggy's twerking videos, writing, "thirst trap" and "sexy as f**k."
DeAndre is Iggy's first official boyfriend since she called off her engagement to Nick Young in June 2016 after a video of him bragging about cheating on Iggy surfaced online.
