The 'Miracles from Heaven' star and her eldest daughter's holiday went awry after they got lost during a kayaking trip and had to be rescued.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner recently came into trouble when spending a one-on-one time with her 12-year-old daughter Violet. The 46-year-old actress revealed they had a navigation issue when they went kayaking during a holiday to Sweden.

On Monday, August 6, the mother of three shared a beautiful picture that shows a silhouette of Jennifer and her daughter Violet paddling together on the call waters, with the sunset in the background. "On a pre-middle school sneak away with my eldest...," she wrote in the caption.

But the trip soon went awry as she revealed next in the caption, "Did I get us lost in a kayak? Yes." The "Alias" alum added, "Did we paddle as hard as we could for 100 hours and end up in a shipping lane? I'm afraid so. Did we have to be rescued? Yup."

Luckily, the mother-daughter duo is okay now after the navigation issue. Jennifer praised her daughter for staying calm and being a trooper during the scary situation as she added the hashtag "shenevercomplained." She also thanked their "savior" Mattias, who also took their photo in Swedish sunset.

Jennifer and Ben Affleck are co-parenting their three children, Violet, 9-year-old Seraphina and 6-year-old Samuel, following their split in June 2015, ten years after they tied the knot in Turks and Caicos in June 2005. They finalized their divorce in April 2017.

Ben has since moved on by dating "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus, while Jennifer remains single. The exes remain friendly and were often spotted spending times together with their children.

"She's very happy and in a good place," a source told Us Weekly about the "Elektra" star in July. "You rarely see her without a smile on her face."
