The country singer, who already has two children with his wife, says, 'So you can probably expect three new babies in the next five years.'

AceShowbiz - Country singer Thomas Rhett is facing another rush to have kids - his wife Lauren wants another three before she's 34.

The couple was surprised when Lauren fell pregnant while she and Thomas were adopting a child from Uganda in early 2017 - and suddenly last summer, they were parents to two daughters, one-year-old Willa Gray and her baby sister Ada James.

And now the 28-year-old star tells Access Hollywood his wife has already made it quite clear she wants to have more kids.

"Lauren wants to have five kids before she turns 34. That is her plan," Thomas smiles. "So you can probably expect three new babies in the next five years. She's the boss."

Rhett admits it was tough adjusting to life with a toddler and newborn at first, but now he feels that he and his wife are coping: "I feel like we're starting to finally come up for air," Thomas explains. "Obviously, we were thrown into two at the same time, so we had to learn how to parent a two-year-old and an infant at the same time. But now, they're both starting to play with each other.

"Ada is starting to walk, and Willa is starting to have legitimate grown-up conversations, which is hilarious. They both just have big personalities."

And his wife deserves all the credit because she's a great mother: "Lauren is just a superwoman of a mom," he says. "Everybody's great, and it's complete chaos. It's awesome."

He insists Lauren isn't pregnant at the moment, and the couple still isn't sure whether the next baby will be biological or adopted.

"We'll probably just wait for God to put that in our path and figure that out in that way, but we would definitely love to adopt again," he shares.
