During the visit, Ciara posed for pictures with Thomas, his wife Josilyne, Kristian, and their other three children. She also gave The Level Dance Complex head choreographer and artistic director $5,000 on behalf of her Why Not You Foundation and the Level Up headphones she wore in her music video.

"It was a surreal moment for us," Thomas told U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America. "We were just trying to dance and give positivity to our son in this time. She showed so much love to him and couldn't put him down."
