AceShowbiz - Jay-Z proved he has no hard feelings towards Mayor of Philadelphia Jim Kenney after their 'Made in America' feud by posing for a photograph with him.
The politician revealed in early July that the Pennsylvania festival, which Jay launched in 2012, would have to find a new home after the 2018 edition as it could no longer be held on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and the rapper responded by writing a piece in the Philadelphia Inquirer, accusing Kenney of having "zero appreciation" for what the festival has done for Philadelphia, and for evicting them without notice.
Kenney insisted it was a misunderstanding, and he sat down with the hip-hop star's Roc Nation company partners in late July to resolve the mix-up, and they agreed on terms to keep the festival at its current site for years to come.
And Jay proved that he had buried the hatchet with Kenney on Monday, July 30, when he posed with the mayor in the VIP lounge of the city's Lincoln Financial Field before performing with his wife Beyonce as part of their "On the Run II Tour".
Sharing the picture on Twitter, Kenney wrote, "Really enjoyed meeting Jay-Z tonight. We're both very excited about the future of @MIAFestival here in Philly."

Sources have told The Blast that they hashed out their differences during their 10-minute meeting. Jay reportedly "expressed his appreciation" for Kenney's help in keeping the festival at its current site and posed for photos with the 59-year-old's children.
In his piece for the Philadelphia Inquirer, the "99 Problems" hitmaker wrote, "We are disappointed that the Mayor of the City of Philadelphia would evict us from the heart of the city, through a media outlet, without a sit-down meeting, notice, dialogue or proper communication... It signifies zero appreciation for what Made in America has built alongside the phenomenal citizens of this city."
After making amends, Kenney issued a statement which claimed he was "committed to its continued success" and added, "I'm optimistic that we can turn an unfortunate misunderstanding into a positive outcome and even stronger event."
The 2018 festival takes places from September 1 and will feature performances from Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, Post Malone and Diplo.
