'I feel like I've ruined everyone's fairy tale,' she says in 'Total Bellas' season finale.

AceShowbiz - Nikki Bella opened up about her decision to call off her wedding to John Cena during the season finale of reality show "Total Bellas" on Sunday, July 29.

The "Trainwreck" actor and the wrestling star announced they had ended their engagement in April, just weeks before their wedding, and footage showing Nikki making the decision aired on the series finale of her show on Sunday.

In the show, Nikki calls her twin sister Brie to announce that they might be "calling off the wedding again", referring to the time they broke up briefly, only to reconcile after John agreed to reverse his vasectomy and give her a child.

The reality star then flies to San Diego, California to talk to her sibling, explaining that John was waiting for her decision, as he would happily marry her tomorrow.

"It's tough 'cause he's like fighting really hard for me. ... The tables have kind of turned," Nikki said. "I didn't give myself long enough the first time we broke up because I got so excited he wanted kids.

"I feel like I've ruined everyone's fairy tale. My heart hurts so bad."

After spending the night thinking about what she wants, the 34-year-old told Brie she thinks she knows her decision but is too afraid to say it.

"I wish it could be different, and I think that's why I've had almost six years of working on us and fighting and just taking in a lot. I just feel like I've hit the point that I'm just so exhausted and done," she continued.

"I just don't want to hurt him. It's just hard when you love someone so much and care for them so much, but you just can't do it anymore."

The episode concludes with the siblings, who make up the wrestling duo The Bella Twins, meeting up on a beach a week later, and Nikki explained that she was worried about letting fans down.

"Everyone's fairy tale was John and I getting married... so you just force yourself to believe it, too, even if you start to feel something different," Nikki said. "I feel like I'm starting the journey of finding me again ... and when I heal myself and find whats wrong with me, he will be there. And if not, it wasn't meant to be."

The series was filmed months before its air date, and earlier in July, Nikki told fans in a video that they were still just friends.
