The North American trek, which kicks off in Maryland on 21 September, will mark the Brooklyn-based rapper's arena tour debut.

AceShowbiz - Troubled rapper 6ix9ine a.k.a. Tekashi69 finally has something to smile about after a jail stint and a kidnapping drama - he has been invited to tour with Nicki Minaj and Future.

The star, aka 6ix9ine, is still recovering from a vicious robbery at his home, during which he was pistol-whipped, knocked unconscious, and threatened with his life.

He escaped by opening the door of his kidnappers' car, jumping out and then running away as one of the thugs chased after him.

The attack took place hours after Tekashi69 released his new FEFE collaboration with Minaj, and now she has asked him to support her on the upcoming NickiHndrxx tour, which she will co-headline with Future.

The North American trek, which kicks off in Maryland on 21 September, will mark the Brooklyn-based rapper's arena tour debut.

"6ix9ine is 1 of the 3 artists that Future and I have added to the #NickiHndrxx WORLD TOUR," Minaj announced on Wednesday, July 25.

Tekashi69 recently wrapped a European tour that briefly cost him his freedom, as he left the country with a warrant out for his arrest.

He was arrested in New York upon his return and initially denied bail for an assault charge in Texas.

The rapper spent a night behind bars at New York's notorious Rikers Island prison before a judge reconsidered and agreed to grant him bail.
