Police have obtained surveillance video that showed the vehicle used by the gunmen to kidnap and rob the rapper in New York over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - Police investigators have reportedly obtained surveillance video of the vehicle that was used in rapper Tekashi69's robbery and kidnapping in New York over the weekend, July 21-22.

The Gotti hitmaker was reportedly pistol-whipped and knocked unconscious outside his home before he was robbed of over $750,000 (GBP572,400) in jewellery and cash on Sunday, July 22. The 22-year-old, aka 6ix9ine, was then bundled into the three hooded thugs' car and threatened with his life. He escaped after opening the door of the moving vehicle, jumped out, and ran away as one one of the suspects chased after him.

The incident came hours after he released his FEFE collaboration with Nicki Minaj and many critics were quick to accuse him of faking the assault to promote the new single.

However, according to TMZ, cops have pulled the surveillance video, which reportedly shows the suspects' vehicle in front of Tekashi69's home before the alleged assault. Investigators have yet to name any suspects.
