AceShowbiz - Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have added to their ink collections with tattoos honouring their grandfathers.

The loved-up pair, who are engaged to wed, are no strangers to body art and earlier this year visited Toronto-based tattoo artist Curt Montgomery to get matching etchings of a nude woman.

For their latest body art, they visited tattoo artist Mr. K, of Bang Bang Tattoos in New York City.

Uploading the results to Instagram, Joe showed off a portrait of his "PaPa Miller" on his arm, while Sophie opted for the letter G on her right pinky finger.

"For PaPa Miller. Thank you @mr.k_tattoo," Joe wrote next to an image of his new ink. He also shared the photo of his grandfather that Mr. K, real name Sanghyuk Ko, worked from.

"@mr.k_tattoo for my grandad. My hero," Sophie said of hers.

Mr. K also showed off his latest work, posting a photo of him standing between the A-list couple, as well as an image of their individual tattoos.

DNCE frontman Joe and Game of Thrones actress Sophie announced their engagement last October after just under a year of dating.

Many fans speculated that the woman Joe had tattooed on his arm in March was a replica of his 22-year-old fiancee, a rumour he cleared up in a chat with The Fix.

"There's a lot of speculation of who or what it is. It's quite funny and a little disappointing probably for a lot of fans of my fiancee that it's really just a picture of nothing," the 28-year-old admitted.

"The artist that I got tattooed by (Curt Montgomery) is a friend and did this amazing drawing. He had it sketched up, and I was like, 'Oh that's cool. I'll pick that.' So, there's not anybody that I'd say it is, but eventually, I'll come up with a name for her. For now, she's a mystery."
