The trailer features Albus Dumbledore asking Newt Scamander to stop Gellert Grindelwald's rebellion plans because he 'can't move against' the dark wizard.

AceShowbiz - Everyone, be careful and quickly grab your wands. A great danger is coming to the wizarding world in the new trailer of "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald". Released during the movie's panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 on July 21, the trailer features Gellert Grindelwald gathering his followers now that he's not locked up anymore.

The clip begins with young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts to students in Hogwarts, including a teenage Newt Scamander. The young boy explains to Dumbledore why his biggest fear has taken the shape of an office desk. It turns out his greatest fear is working in an office.

The scene then changes to present times, where a free Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) is seen delivering a grand speech to presumably his followers. "Magic blooms only in rare souls. Still, we must skulk in shadows. But the old ways serve us no longer," he says, clearly telling them to rebel.

Knowing his plans, Dumbledore asks Newt (Eddie Redmayne) to stop Grindelwald's plans because he "can't move against" the dark wizard. It's still unknown why Dumbledore can't stop Grindelwald, but there's a scene where the future Hogwarts headmaster is seen looking at Grindelwald through the Mirror of Erised. As fans of "Harry Potter" franchise may already know, the enchanted mirror shows the subject of what they desire the most.

Also making an appearance in the trailer is Nicholas Flamel (Brontis Jodorowsky), the famous alchemist mentioned in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". Flamel's Sorcerer's Stone allows him to unlock immortality, and this fact appears to stun Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler).

During the movie's panel at the convention, Depp made a surprise appearance when he walked out on stage dressed as his character, delivering an anti-Muggle manifesto. "I do not hate them. I do not," he said. "I say the Muggles are not lesser. Not worthless, but of other value. Magic blooms only in rare souls. It is granted to those who live for higher things." He left without speaking to his co-stars afterward.

Also starring Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston and Zoe Kravitz among others, "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" will hit theaters across the nation on November 16.
