AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian is sorry for her bad choice of words. The new mom has come under fire after using the R-word during an Instagram Live session which also featured her sister Kourtney Kardashian on Thursday, July 19.
During the livestream, the mother of one became frustrated while trying to connect her sister Kourtney's smartphone with her before a morning workout. "Yes, you can, you f***ing retard," Kourtney was heard saying off-camera. As they continued to configure their devices, Khloe responded, "Are you f***ing retarded?"
Some of her fans called out the sisters for using the pejorative term. "@khloekardashian did a live insta today using a discriminatory word. Retarded, what we call the R-word. I love the Kards but this shocked me & is repulsive," one Twitter user wrote.
Another posted on Twitter, "I was watching your livestream on Instagram until you said the 'r' word. You should pay more attention to your word choices especially since you have a huge following and don't know who you could be offending. If True had a disability you would use a different word."
Realizing her mistake, Khloe quickly apologized. "Ugh I hate that word! Why did I even say that?" she wrote in response to the backlash. "You are a million percent right and I actually greatly dislike when people use that word! I will do better! I am sorry! much love today."

The reality TV star has since been praised for owning up to her mistake and the way she dealt with the criticism. "That is how you apologize. Own your mistake, no excuses, apologize, and do better," one Twitter user commented.
Khloe has been learning of new things since welcoming her daughter True Thompson, whom she shares with boyfriend Tristan Thompson. "I've never had to juggle a baby and work at the same time, so it'll be interesting to see how I'll learn to handle everything," the 34-year-old star shared earlier this week.
