Should they sign the deal, they will join returning cast members including Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell and Josh Gad.

AceShowbiz - It looks like fans of "Frozen (2013)" will be introduced to some new characters in its highly-anticipated sequel. If a report from Variety is to be trusted, Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are both in talks to lend their voices for "Frozen 2".

Wood is known for her role as Dolores Abernathy on "Westworld", while Brown is notably known for his Randall Pearson portrayal on "This Is Us". Both of them recently received nominations at Emmy Awards for their respective work on the series. In the animation voiceover world, Brown recently joined the cast of "The Angry Birds Movie 2", while Wood lent her voice for 2015's "Strange Magic".

Should they sign the deal, they will join returning cast members including Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna and Josh Gad as Olaf. Details of the movie are currently under wraps, but Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck will serve as the directors. Lee is also penning the script with Peter Del Vecho producing the pic.

"Frozen 2" is set to hit theaters across the nation on November 27, 2019.

"Frozen" was released in 2013 and is currently the highest-grossing animated movie of all time, with its worldwide box office totaling over $1.27 billion. It has also become a merchandising juggernaut, breaking sales records on home video and at Disney's stores. The musical animation won the Academy Award for Best Animated Film in 2014.

The movie has also been adapted into a Broadway musical, with Caissie Levy and Patti Murin playing the polar-opposite sisters Elsa and Anna respectively. It features a score by Oscar-winning composers Kirsten Anderson Lopez and Robert Lopez, while the script is written by Lee. Similar to the movie, the Broadway adaptation also became a hit and earned three Tony Award nominations this year.
