AceShowbiz - Teyana Taylor is disappointed that a verse she wrote about her daughter Junie, 2, was cut from her album.

The singer unveiled her long-awaited sophomore album "K.T.S.E.", executive produced by her G.O.O.D. Music label boss Kanye West, last month, but its release was marred by delays and a slew of sample clearance issues.

And in an interview with Power 105.1 FM's "The Breakfast Club", the "Broken Hearted Girl" singer explained that while she "loved the album", she was disappointed by certain aspects of it.

"I lived with these records this is very vulnerable for me, very vulnerable and personal for me, living with that, expressing myself through my music with this album, that was what I fell in love with," she told hosts DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God on Friday, July 13. "Then at the last minute it might be an extra drum or three, an extra sample or eighteen, it's just, it was a lot of stuff added at the last minute."

"It was just like you know when you wake up in the morning the album come out and you hear a completely different album," she continued. "You know you never would have made it... you know it was about my mom and Junie, and the doubters, different things like that... and if you notice there was only one verse on the record. So I was like where is my verse about Junie?"

Teyana admitted the last-minute edits hurt her on a personal level, and left her "feeling a type of way".

"If y'all woulda heard the whole record, it would have just... made (sense) like you start feeling it the second verse when you get into the record so having like a song with just one verse was too far," she sighed.

However, while the 27-year-old singer was disappointed at some of the changes to her songs, another short track, "Gonna Love Me", was apparently left short for an exciting reason.

After Charlamagne hinted that the song should be longer, Teyana, who attended the interview with her husband Iman Shumpert, 28, answered: "That's a process I can't tell you yet," after which Charlamagne exploded shouting "Janet Jackson", at the top of his voice, while Teyana did her best to keep a poker face.

"See how the rumours start," she added, dismissing further talk that she was scheduled to shoot a video with the star.
