AceShowbiz - One of Kanye West's favourite models Shannade Clermont faces a lengthy prison stint after allegedly stealing a dead man's identity.
Clermont, who starred alongside her twin sister Shannon, in Kanye's famous Yeezy season six promotional images, which dropped earlier this year, has been accused of lifting a man's debit card information after he died of a cocaine and fentanyl overdose in his home following a prostitution date with her.
According to The Blast, officials at the U.S. Attorneys office claim the 24 year old former star of raunchy U.S. reality TV series Bad Girls Club was spotted by a doorman at the apartment building with the unnamed victim hours before he was found dead.
Investigators have also uncovered numerous text messages linking her to the dead man, with Clermont reportedly agreeing to go on a sex date with him for $400 (£300).
She has been slapped with three federal criminal charges, including wire fraud, access device fraud and aggravated identity theft for taking the debit card information and racking up $20,000 (£15,000) in charges. Clermont is said to have spent the money on her rent and phone bills as well as plane tickets and several online purchases, dropping thousands on clothes and merchandise.
U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman insists authorities will go after the reality TV star and model with the full force of the law.
"As alleged, Shannade Clermont, a former cast member of the Bad Girls Club, lived up to her reality series reputation," Berman said. "Clermont's new reality is federal prosecution for her alleged nefarious conduct."
Shannade and her sister Shannon dressed in blonde wigs to resemble Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian for the popular Yeezy season six campaign and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star even shared a picture of the twins from the fashion promo on Instagram.
