Police have arrested and charged Michael Boatwright who is believed to be one of two armed men who approached the rapper in his car outside a motorcycle dealership on June 18 and fired at him.

AceShowbiz - A second suspect has been arrested and charged in relation to the murder of rapper XXXTENTACION.

Authorities at the Broward Sheriff's Office in Florida believe Michael Boatwright was one of two armed men who approached the 20-year-old "Sad!" star in his car outside a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach on June 18 and fired at him.

XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was found slumped over in his car without a pulse, and was subsequently pronounced dead.

Police investigating the case arrested the first suspect, Dedrick Williams, just two days after the incident and charged him with first-degree murder, although it seems he is not thought to have been one of the gunmen.

Boatwright, who has a long criminal history, was busted for an unrelated drug charge on July 5 after he was pulled over at a traffic stop, but cops served him with a warrant relating to XXXTENTACION's slaying on Tuesday, July 10, while he was already in custody, reports The Blast.

He has now been slapped with the additional count of first-degree murder.

Officials are still searching for the second shooter in the attack.

They previously named Robert Allen as a person of interest, as he was seen on the dealership's surveillance video around the time of the shooting. The 22 year old is also wanted on a felony warrant for a drug and gun-related probation violation.
