The former vice presidential candidate is invited to participate in an interview for upcoming Showtime series 'Who Is America', which involves the actor posing as a disabled veteran.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Palin went mad after Sacha Baron Cohen invited her to participate in an interview for upcoming Showtime series "Who Is America". The former governor of Alaska took to her Facebook account on Tuesday, July 10 to slam the comedian for tricking her and her daughter into an interview which she claimed as "full of Hollywoodism's disrespect and sarcasm."

Palin sarcastically told Facebook users that she was given a "legit opportunity" to honor American vets and contribute to a "legit Showtime historical documentary" when they invited her via speakers bureau.

Unaware of Cohen's true intention, Palin agreed to do the interview with one of her daughters, whom she did not name. According to Palin's post, they were then asked to travel across the country where Cohen interviewed them and posed as a disabled veteran. "For my interview, my daughter and I were asked to travel across the country where Cohen [I presume] had heavily disguised himself as a disabled U.S. Veteran, fake wheelchair and all," she wrote.

Realizing she was tricked, Palin walked out from the humiliating and disrespectful interview. "Out of respect for what I was led to believe would be a thoughtful discussion with someone who had served in uniform, I sat through a long 'interview' full of Hollywoodism's disrespect and sarcasm," Palin stated her disappointment. "But finally had enough and literally, physically removed my mic and walked out, much to Cohen's chagrin. The disrespect of our U.S. military and middle-class Americans via Cohen's foreign commentaries under the guise of interview questions was perverse."

Palin considered the "Borat" actor's humor evil and sick. "I join a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive, sick 'humor' of the British 'comedian' Sacha Baron Cohen, enabled and sponsored by CBS/Showtime," she said.

The 54-year-old politician then continued her rant as she challenged Cohen, Showtime and CBS to donate all proceeds from the show to a charity that actually respects and supports American Veterans.

"The challenge is to Cohen, CBS and Showtime: donate all proceeds to a charitable group that actually respects and supports American Vets. Mock politicians and innocent public personalities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night, but HOW DARE YOU mock those who have fought and served our country," she wrote on the post.

"Who Is America" is set to premiere on July 15 on Showtime.
