Her daughter Julia is currently on the road to recovery following the recent health scare.

AceShowbiz - "Mean Girls" actress Lacey Chabert has thanked medical staff after her young daughter was rushed to hospital suffering from a severe allergic reaction.

Lacey, 35, took to Instagram earlier this week (begins July 2) to reassure fans her daughter Julia is on the road to recovery following the recent health scare.

"I want to publicly thank the dear people in the emergency room at Cedar Sinai Hospital," she wrote. "Julia had a very serious allergic reaction. Not only did they take care of her, but they also calmed down this extremely panicked momma.

"Julia is completely fine now because of their care. I can't thank them enough for how well they looked after our family. God bless them!"

The actress also added the hashtags "angels" and "gratitude" to the post.

Lacey and her husband David Nehdar welcomed Julia in September 2016 and named her after the star's mother, Julie Chabert.

"My mother and I have always had a very close relationship, so I wanted to honour my mum by naming my daughter Julia as well," she told People magazine at the time.

She added that becoming a mother had been a dream come true and described the birthing experience as extremely special.

"Meeting my daughter for the first time was the most special moment of my life," she shared with the publication. "They laid Julia on my chest in the delivery room and my heart completely melted. She was just so peaceful."
