AceShowbiz - Ricky Gervais has assembled a cast of top British talent for his new Netflix comedy series, After Life.
Downton Abbey star Penelope Wilton, Harry Potter and Game Of Thrones' David Bradley, and Gervais' Extras castmate Ashley Jensen are among the talent signed up for the new show, which is currently filming in the U.K.
Mandeep Dhillon, Jo Hartley, Roisin Conaty, and Diane Morgan, who all featured in Gervais' David Brent: Life On The Road, have also been added to the cast for the project, about a desperate widower, who drops his nice guy persona following the death of his wife and becomes a bitter man who upsets everyone around him.
Announcing his cast for the series, Gervais tells Deadline, "This cast combines the best of the new breed of great British comedy talent with some of the wonderful alumni of my previous shows."
