Welcoming the 'Avengers: Infinity War' actor with 'tattooed and open arms,' the wrestler-turned-actor tweets, 'Every hero is only as good as their villain.'

AceShowbiz - Dwayne Johnson has confirmed he'll be battling Idris Elba is the upcoming "Fast and Furious" spin-off.

Reports from early on Thursday, July 5, suggested the British actor was in talks to play the villain in the film, "Hobbs and Shaw", opposite Johnson and Jason Statham, and now the action man has confirmed Idris is in.

"He's a baaaaaad man (sic)," Johnson wrote on Twitter on Thursday afternoon. "Welcoming my dude @idriselba with tattooed and open arms to our #HobbsAndShaw Fast & Furious spin-off movie. Every hero is only as good as their villain. Cue the music... let's dance."

Earlier this week (begin July 2), it was announced "The Crown" star Vanessa Kirby will play an MI-5 agent, who just happens to be the sister of Statham's character Deckard Shaw, in the movie.
