AceShowbiz - Drake has shattered the one-week streaming record for an album in just three days.
The rapper released Scorpion at midnight on Thursday, June 28 and notched up 435 million on-demand audio streams in the U.S.
That puts the Canadian ahead of Post Malone, who previously held the record with beerbongs & bentleys, which picked up 431.3 million streams in a week back in May.
Experts predict Scorpion could collect over 700 million streams in the U.S. by the end of the tracking week on 5 July, while the album is set to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 countdown next weekend with over 700,000 in equivalent albums sold, giving Drake his eighth successive chart-topper.
