AceShowbiz - Embattled comedian Andy Dick has reportedly been slapped with a sexual battery charge.
Law enforcement sources have told reporters at TMZ.com that an unnamed woman filed a police report claiming the 52-year-old squeezed her bottom twice and made lewd comments as he walked past her on a Los Angeles street in April.
In documents obtained by the website, the Los Angeles City Attorney has subsequently slapped the comedian with charges of misdemeanour sexual battery and misdemeanour simple battery for allegedly touching the woman.
The charges come months after Dick's longtime partner Lena Sved was granted a permanent restraining order against him in March over allegations he became violent after drinking. He reportedly had to vacate the family home and stay away from Sved, their children Jacob and Meg, and her daughter Rachel Seff until March 2023.
Towards the end of 2017, it was revealed the funnyman, who has struggled with addiction issues, was fired from two films, "Raising Buchanan" and "Vampire Dad", over allegations of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behaviour.
