The comedian allegedly says during his stand-up routine that his fiancee must have realized how famous she had become because 'Britney Spears didn't have a terrorist attack at her concert.'

AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson might be Ariana Grande's fiance, but it doesn't mean he can joke about her freely. The 24-year-old comedian has come under fire for making jokes about Manchester bombing attack during a stand-up routine at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles five months after the tragedy.

According to an onlooker, Pete joked about how his singer fiancee must have realized how famous she had become because "Britney Spears didn't have a terrorist attack at her concert." The onlooker noted that the joke caused a stir among the audience, saying, "It drew gasps from the crowd and everyone squirmed in their seats, the event five months earlier was still pretty fresh, and there were plenty of British tourist in the crowd."

Charlotte Hodgson, who is the mother of 15-year-old victim Olivia Campbell-Hardy, called the "Saturday Night Live" star's jokes "heartbreaking and outrageous," adding that the other families "will find it equally as disgusting." She told Mirror, "For someone so famous to be doing it and now to be with Ariana, it's outrageous. I think she would be horrified too."

One of the survivors of the attack, Jade Clough, was also shocked after hearing the jokes, calling it "absolutely disgusting." She said, "This isn't something to joke about, it was a terrorist attack targeted at children. You don't joke about things like that in a stand-up comedy show. I'm still suffering on a daily basis, I still have nightmares, and Ariana herself has suffered from PTSD. What the hell?"

Reps for Pete have yet to respond to the backlash.

Ariana revealed in an interview with British Vogue that she suffered from PTSD after the incident. "It's hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss. But yeah, it's a real thing. I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well," she said. "I feel like I shouldn't even be talking about my own experience like I shouldn't even say anything. I don't think I'll ever know how to talk about it and not cry."
